One more milestone achieved!
We are thrilled to announce that CEHP is now a full member of the ECHoS initiative and will represent ECHoS for Bulgaria.
ECHoS (Establishing Cancer Mission Hubs: Networks and Synergies)
is an European consortium supported by the EC’s Cancer Mission that will play a vital role in supporting the mission’s ambitious goals. Gathering the expertise and expertise of leading organizations from government, health, research and innovation, academia and non-profit sectors, the consortium will support Member States and associated countries in the progressive establishment of National Cancer Centres (NCMHs).
These National Cancer Centres will be essential to involve all relevant stakeholders to engage them in cooperation initiatives and policy dialogues on cancer at national and regional levels.
A National Cancer Mission Hub should be established in each Member State and Associated State. Its activities will include raising awareness and coordinating the activities of the mission among and with relevant actors in national, regional or local research and innovation and health systems, while generating and exploiting synergies with the European Beating Cancer Plan, thereby promoting an enhanced policy dialogue on cancer control at national level.
